As one of the largest family violence service providers in Texas, The Family Place empowers survivors with safe shelter, counseling, legal support and transitional housing. In 2024, we served over 40,000 individuals, providing 42,140 nights of emergency shelter and 20,805 nights of transitional housing. At the heart of our work is transformation. Like the butterfly—long a symbol of hope and renewal—our clients begin new lives free from violence. Frisco Family Services helps members of our Frisco and Frisco ISD communities who are facing hunger, homelessness and other urgent needs improve their quality of life and achieve self-sufficiency.

Frisco Family Services has been a vital part of our community since February 18, 1994, when a group of concerned Frisco residents saw a need in their own backyards. We have continued to grow with the help of our donors and volunteers who make our mission possible. Through the years, our purpose has remained the same: help our neighbors in their time of crisis and need.
